Temp Market is not a recruitment agency. We are a technology portal that allows companies and people looking for temporary work to connect with each other.
By registering with Temp Market and creating a profile, you understand that your profile will be searchable and viewable by our clients. This includes viewing your skills assessments, your introductory video and reviews from previous companies who have engaged your services.
You will be notified of available temp assignments via text message, email and within your Temp Market account. It is likely that other temps will be sent the same assignment as you and it is the first temp that accepts the job that receives the job. We therefore recommend responding to all temp requests as soon as possible. Failure to do so may mean you will miss out!
Temp Market will undertake reference checks and credit checks on all temps as part of the registration process. Your profile will not be activated until these checks have been satisfactorily completed. In addition, your profile will not be activated until all skills tests have been completed, your profile completed and background checks completed.
You are responsible for maintaining your profile, ensuring all information is up to date.
You will have the ability to activate or deactivate your profile as required.
Temp Market retains the right to cancel any candidates account and profile for any reason. This could include but is not limited to:
Companies who use Temp Market will rank your performance once the assignment is complete. You agree and understand that this occurs and Temp Market has no control over the ratings given. If you dispute a rating given please contact the Temp Market team.
Once an assignment has commenced, if for whatever reason you cannot complete the assignment you must notify Temp Market in writing immediately.
You will need to generate an invoice on the last business day of each month from within your Temp Market login. This will be forwarded to our accounts team for payment. Payment will be made within 7 days of receipt of your invoice.
The hourly rate you agree to for each assignment is inclusive of holiday pay, sick pay and any and all loadings. Temp Market will deduct tax so you must provide your IRD details to our team prior to commencing an assignment.
You are responsible for ensuring that you do not breach any applicable laws or regulations (such as privacy laws) when you upload data into the Temp Market system. You are responsible for keeping your login and password confidential. You shouldn't give this information to any third party. You are responsible for all activity that occurs through your login and password. You should notify us immediately if you think your login and password have been used without proper authorisation. If we think any problems have occurred, then we may suspend your account until the problem is resolved.
We appreciate that on occasion, issues may occur between company and temp. It is important that any issue is handled quickly and effectively. Temp Market recommends the following steps when an issue arises.
